Blog 3- Option 1


When I go to college, majors that I have thought about majoring in are human services and sports management. 

Human Services:

Social Worker:
-Average pay: $55,000
- Highest Salaries: California, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey
-Lowest Salaries: Arizona, West Virginia, Oklahoma
- Education: Bachelors degree in social work (BSW)
-Personalities: empathy, active listening, organization, responsibility

Physiologist:
-Average pay: $72,000
-Highest Salaries: California, New York, Alabama
-Lowest Salaries: Mississippi, Kentucky, West Virginia
- Education: Masters or doctoral degree
-Personalities: communication skills, patience, trustworthiness 

Non Governmental Organization:
-Average Pay: $60,000
-Highest/ Lowest Salaries: Depends on organization/country
-Education: graduate degree in development studies, economic development, or demographics 
-Personalities: leadership, good communicator, adaptable

Sports Management:
-Average Pay: $80,000
-Highest Salaries: California, New York, Illinois 
-Lowest Salaries: Maine, New Mexico, Oklahoma 
-Education: Bachelors Sports Management 
-Personalities: honesty, patience, commitment

  3. I think its great that even though these professions all involve similar skills, they are still in very different industries, giving you a chance to explore many career areas.
